Dr. Muhammad Eyad Ba’Ath has over two decades of extensive experience in Pediatric Surgery and Urology.
Graduating with distinction from Aleppo University School of Medicine, Syria, in 1997, Dr. Ba’Ath pursued specialized training in General Surgery before focusing on Pediatric Surgery in National Health Service (NHS) – Northwest, United Kingdom. During his tenure in the UK, Dr. Ba’Ath conducted groundbreaking research on "scarless healing," earning a Master of Science (Medical Sciences) degree from the University of Liverpool in 2009.
Additionally, he recognized for his exceptional skills and dedication, and was awarded the best candidate award in the European Board of Pediatric Surgery.

Prior to joining Mubadala Health Dubai, Dr. Ba’Ath’s professional journey has taken him across esteemed institutions globally, including Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool, UK, and Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital. Dr. Ba’Ath's commitment to humanitarian work led him to serve in his home country before joining Al Jalila Specialty Children’s Hospital and American Hospital Dubai in the UAE. In 2023, he became a vital member of our team at Danat Al Emarat Hospital.
Dr. . Ba’Ath’s scope of practicecovers a range of pediatric surgical and urological procedures, circumcision for all ages, treatment for conditions such as hypospadias, undescended testis, and hernias (umbilical and inguinal), as well as managing pediatric urological disorders like child urinary and fecal incontinence, childhood constipation, hydrocele, and urinary tract infections. Additionally, Dr. Ba’Ath provides expert care for cuts and lacerations, along with the evaluation and treatment of lumps and bumps in pediatric patients.
