Biography
Dr. Aishani Shah is a highly qualified Dermatology Specialist with over 12 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and managing a comprehensive range of skin, hair, and nail disorders affecting both adults and children. Internationally trained and board certified, she is recognized for delivering evidence-based, patient-centred dermatological care, with expertise spanning medical, paediatric, surgical, and aesthetic dermatology.
Dr. Shah obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), followed by her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy. She further achieved the prestigious European Board Certification in Dermatology and Venereology (EBDVD) and is an International Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology (IFAAD), reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest international standards of clinical practice.
To complement her expertise in medical dermatology, Dr. Shah completed advanced training in Aesthetic Dermatology and Laser Medicine through the Arab Academy of Aesthetic Dermatology and Laser (AADAL). She combines the latest evidence-based medical treatments with advanced aesthetic procedures to provide comprehensive, personalized care tailored to each patient's individual needs.
Dr. Shah has a special interest in paediatric dermatology, eczema, and atopic dermatitis, and is experienced in managing chronic inflammatory and autoimmune skin conditions including psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), vitiligo, pemphigus, alopecia areata, acne, rosacea, melasma, urticaria, and complex pigmentary disorders. She is also experienced in prescribing and monitoring biologic therapies for chronic inflammatory skin diseases.
She has a strong focus on the early detection and prevention of skin cancer through comprehensive skin examinations, dermoscopy, mole mapping, evaluation of pigmented lesions, and skin biopsies. Her procedural expertise includes cryotherapy, sebaceous cyst excision, nail surgery, skin biopsies, skin tag removal, and a wide range of minor dermatological procedures.
Alongside her medical practice, Dr. Shah provides advanced aesthetic dermatology treatments including botulinum toxin (Botox®), hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, PRP and PRF regenerative therapies, skin boosters, exosome therapy, chemical peels, microneedling, microneedling radiofrequency (MNRF), and combination therapies for acne scar management.
