Dr. Wael Madkour, is an internationally esteemed expert specializing in reproductive issues and concerns with 30 years of experience.
He has completed his postgraduate training in Egypt, earning his Master of Science and medical degrees, along with certifications in United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE, USA) and Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination (MCCEE, Canada). He furthered his training in the UK, specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology and obtaining membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. His experience encompasses work at renowned teaching hospitals within the NHS Trusts, culminating in his RCOG membership in 2000.
Subsequently, Dr. Madkour pursued fellowship training at the Assisted Conception Unit, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, UK. Upon completing his fellowship, he briefly returned to Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, where he was promoted to the academic position of Assistant Professor in the Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBS/GYN) department.
In 2003, Dr. Madkour joined Dubai Government Family Clinic (DGFC) in conjunction with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), where he served as a lead consultant in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive medicine for 15 years. During this tenure, he played a pivotal role in establishing local regulations, overseeing audit and licensing affairs. In his final two years at the DHA, he held the position of Assistant Director for Medical Affairs for the DGFC.
Prior to joining Mubadala Health Dubai, Dr. Madkour worked at Health Plus Fertility Center, Abu Dhabi.
His scope of practice covers all aspects related to the field of ART for male and female infertility, IVF, and fertility preservation.
Management of infertility related to endometriosis, recurrent implantation failure, endoscopies for uterine pathology, management of low ovarian reserve, low prognosis patients, and male infertility.
