Biography

Dr. Sakina Farhat brings over 25 years of experience as a Consultant Gastroenterologist, offering comprehensive care in gastroenterology and hepatology.

Dr. Farhat’s extensive medical training includes a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, India, followed by a residency in Internal Medicine at North Shore University Hospital in Queens, New York, and a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the State University of the New York Health Science Center in Brooklyn, USA.

Dr. Farhat has a robust clinical background, having served as a Consultant in Gastroenterology at Medcare Hospital and Medcare Women & Children Hospital, Dubai, as well as a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Zia Medical Center, also in Dubai. She is passionate and committed to the advancement of gastroenterological care, and is a member of several prestigious medical societies including the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA).

• Managing gastrointestinal (GI) disorders such as IBS, chronic constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, bloating, food intolerances, and anorectal conditions including rectal bleeding and hemorrhoids.
