Dr. Mustafa obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Wright State University, Ohio, USA. He is recognized for his expertise in general gastroenterology, hepatology, and the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders, with a special focus on obesity management, chronic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and colon cancer screening.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Mustafa has held notable positions, including Head of the Advanced GI Endoscopy department at Florida Hospital, Tampa, and Head of the Gastroenterology Unit at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital, Dubai. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (FASGE) and the American Society of Bariatric Endoscopy (FASBE) and has been acknowledged as a leading physician in Florida and listed in the "Who’s Who in America" book for his outstanding contributions to medicine and gastroenterology.
