Dr. Humeira Badsha is a highly accomplished Consultant Rheumatologist with 29 years of experience.
Her career spans three countries—the USA, Singapore, and UAE—where she has excelled in providing comprehensive care to patients with various rheumatic conditions.
Dr. Badsha earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Madras, India. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Connecticut, USA, and a Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of California, Los Angeles, USA. She is American Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology and holds a certification in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound from the American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Badsha has been recognized globally for her dedication to patient care and innovative contributions to rheumatology. She received the Patient’s Choice Award in Massachusetts, USA, for three consecutive years (2003-2005) and was honored with the Gulf News Being She Award for Healthcare Excellence 2024. In the UAE, she was awarded the Doctify Award for Excellence in Patient Care in 2021. She also received the award for a “Consultant of the year health care award” in 2023 from H. E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.
Dr. Badsha is the founder of the Middle East Arthritis Foundation, which received the Ministry of Health Award for Innovation in 2020. Additionally, she has published "The Wellness Guide to Arthritis," offering a holistic approach to arthritis management.
