Dr. Heike Andrea Jacobs

Biography

Dr. Heike Andrea Jacobs is a highly experienced Consultant Neurologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of neurological conditions. She is internationally trained and recognized for her expertise in general neurology, neurophysiology, and advanced headache management, providing comprehensive, patient-centred neurological care.

Dr. Jacobs obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Freie Universität Berlin, Germany, followed by specialist training in Neurology through Ärztekammer Berlin, Germany, where she qualified as a Facharzt (Specialist) in Neurology.

Throughout her career, Dr. Jacobs has played an active role in developing neurological services and advancing patient care. She was part of the multidisciplinary team that established a Stroke Unit at a City Hospital and served as the sole neurologist at Parkview Hospital for one year, delivering comprehensive neurological care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Before joining Mubadala Health Dubai, Dr. Jacobs recently worked at Doctors Clinic Diagnostic Centre in Dubai. Prior to that, she served as Consultant Neurologist at Valiant Hospital, where she played a key role in developing neurophysiology services and worked in close collaboration with neurosurgical teams to support advanced neurological diagnostics and treatment pathways.

At Mubadala Health Dubai, Dr. Jacobs focuses on general neurology consultations, advanced headache management, IV neurological treatments, and nerve block procedures. She provides comprehensive care for both acute and chronic neurological conditions, with strong expertise in neurophysiological diagnostics and long-term neurological disease management.
