Dr. Haris Naseem

Biography

Dr. Haris Naseem is a distinguished Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with extensive experience in the field. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, and limb reconstruction techniques, including limb lengthening and deformity correction. Dr. Naseem is also adept at managing complex trauma and general orthopedic trauma.

Dr. Naseem completed his Master of Research (MRes) with Distinction and his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Manchester, UK. He also holds a Diploma in Sport and Exercise Medicine (Dip Sports Med) from the Faculty of Sport and Exercise Medicine UK.

Before joining Mubadala Health Dubai, Dr. Naseem served as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary (Manchester University, National Health Service Foundation Trust). During his tenure, he supervised and trained medical students, junior doctors, and surgeons in training. He was the Project Lead of the Manchester Orthopaedic Trauma Symposium and the Foot and Ankle MDT Lead at Manchester Royal Infirmary.

Dr. Naseem is recognized for his expertise in minimally invasive orthopedic surgeries, ensuring patients receive top-notch care. He has also served as a British Boxing Board of Control (BBBC) medical officer with 12 years of experience as a ringside physician for professional matches and 11 years of experience as a ringside physician for mixed martial arts professional competitions. Notably, Dr. Naseem was the ringside doctor for boxing competitions at the 2012 London Olympics and has provided medical cover for the London Marathon.
