Dr. Amr Mohamed Sarwat

Biography

Dr. Amr Mohamed Sarwat is a highly experienced Specialist Neurosurgeon with over 20 years of expertise in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of spinal conditions. He earned his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCh) from Cairo University in Egypt, followed by pre-registration training at Cairo University Hospitals. He commenced his residency in Neurosurgery at Maadi Armed Forces Hospital in Egypt.

Dr. Sarwat continued his neurosurgical training in the United Kingdom, where he served as a Specialist Registrar in Neurosurgery within the North Thames Region and later pursued a spinal fellowship at The London Spine Clinic, one of the UK’s leading centres for spinal care.

Since 2004, Dr. Sarwat has practiced as a Specialist Spine Neurosurgeon in the UAE, delivering high-quality care across several leading private healthcare institutions. Prior to joining Mubadala Health Dubai, he held the role of Community-Based Physician and Specialist Neurosurgeon at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital and Emirates Hospitals in Dubai.

At Mubadala Health Dubai, Dr. Sarwat focuses on adult spinal surgery for patients aged 16 years and above, offering expertise in a wide range of spinal pathologies, including degenerative, traumatic, congenital, and tumour-related conditions.
