Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation

Physiotherapy

Adult and pediatric physiotherapy

Physiotherapy aims to restore function and movement in people who have been affected by illness, injury, or disability. At Mubadala Health Dubai, we offer a range of physiotherapy services for adults and children. Our physiotherapists work as part of a multidisciplinary team, taking a holistic approach to treatment, aiming to aid and enhance recovery and restore mobility and function in people of all ages across a wide range of health concerns.

Physiotherapy can help people with musculoskeletal problems affecting the bones, joints and soft tissues as well as connective tissues such as ligaments and tendons that can lead to pain, weakness and a restricted range of motion. Orthopedic physiotherapy is also an essential part of recovery following surgery or injury. The team works closely with our Orthopedic and Sports Medicine department to ensure the most effective treatment plan is offered and tailored to the individual’s needs.

Physiotherapy is also offered to patients with neurological conditions that affect the brain and nervous system, such as stroke, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis, and we work closely with the teams in our Neurology and Pediatric Neurology departments.

We also work closely with our Pulmonology and Pediatric Pulmonology departments to offer a range of therapies to patients with breathing and respiratory concerns, such as cystic fibrosis and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
