Maram Mohammed Makki

Biography

Maram Mohammed Makki is an experienced Physiotherapist with clinical expertise since 2019. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy and Master of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Sharjah, UAE, graduating with academic distinction (CGPA 3.98 and 3.95 respectively).

Maram has contributed to healthcare by leading the development of physiotherapy department structures and policies, and by creating clinical guidelines tailored to mental health and substance use rehabilitation. Her commitment to continuous learning is reflected in her completion of over 20 advanced certifications and workshops in areas such as dry needling (Levels 1 & 2), osteopathic spinal manipulation, chronic back and shoulder rehabilitation, dry cupping, and the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine.

Prior to joining Mubadala Health Dubai, she served as a Senior Physiotherapist at Ardens Medical Center in Dubai and previously worked at the Medcare Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center in Dubai, and Advanced Cure Diagnostic Center in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Her scope of practice includes musculoskeletal physiotherapy, post-operative rehabilitation, geriatric physiotherapy, mental health-focused physiotherapy, sports rehabilitation, and yoga-based therapy.
