Dr. Nowar Al Azzam

Biography

Dr. Nowar Al Azzam brings over 10 years of experience in orthopedic surgery, with extensive expertise in trauma management, sports medicine, arthroscopy, and joint reconstruction. He is dedicated to restoring mobility, function, and quality of life through advanced surgical and non-surgical orthopedic care.

Dr. Al Azzam earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Al-Baath University in Homs, Syria, and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Damascus Hospital in Syria. His training and practice have focused on complex trauma, upper and lower limb fractures, and minimally invasive joint procedures.

Before joining Mubadala Health Dubai, Dr. Al Azzam served as a Specialist Orthopedic Surgeon at Medcare Orthopaedics & Spine Hospital in Dubai, UAE, where he managed a wide spectrum of trauma and sports injury cases and performed numerous arthroscopic and reconstructive surgeries.

He is an active member of AO Trauma, having completed advanced training courses in fracture management and contributing to orthopedic teaching and case discussions. Dr. Al Azzam is recognized for his patient-centered approach, combining clinical precision with compassionate care.
