Dr. Sara Mahmoud

Biography

Dr. Sara Mahmoud is a highly skilled and experienced psychiatrist with a career spanning over 15 years.

She completed her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Kasr el Aini, Cairo University, Egypt, in 2004. Following her graduation, Dr. Mahmoud underwent specialized training at Kasr Al Aini Hospital and served as a pediatric resident at the Primary Health Care Center in Cairo, Egypt. She further honed her expertise at Dr. Ahmed Maher Teaching Hospital.

In addition to her medical degree, Dr. Mahmoud holds a master's degree in Neuropsychiatry from Cairo University, Egypt. This advanced training has equipped her with a deep understanding of the complex interplay between the brain and mental health.

In February of 2022, Dr. Mahmoud joined the Mubadala Healthcare network, bringing her wealth of experience and expertise to the team and her patients. Prior to her current role, she served at the Behavioural Healthcare Psychiatric Center in Doha, Qatar.
