What is Chronic Pelvic Pain?

Chronic pelvic pain (CPP) is any pain in the lower abdomen or pelvic region that lasts for more than 6 months. It may be dull or sharp, cramping or colicky, intermittent or constant, and can affect your daily routine, sex life and ability to work, exercise and sleep. It may not go away with regular painkillers.
