Dr. Niamh Kilcullen

Biography

Dr. Kilcullen is a Consultant Cardiologist with more than 10 years of experience in her field.

Dr. Kilcullen obtained her medical degree from University College Dublin, Ireland in 1998. She completed her General Medical training in Ireland & the UK. She was awarded a British Heart Foundation Junior Fellowship in 2003 and obtained a Doctor of Medicine Research degree from the University of Leeds, UK in 2005. Dr Kilcullen completed her Cardiology training in West Yorkshire, UK. In 2009, she commenced a 3-year Fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at the Massachusetts General Hospital & Brigham & Women’s Hospital, Boston. Dr Kilcullen received her Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in Cardiology in 2010. She was a Consultant Cardiologist at the Mid Yorkshire Trust, UK from 2012-2023.

She is a Fellow of The Royal College of Physicians in London. She has published in international peer-reviewed journals, presented at international conferences, and has authored two book chapters. She has an interest in medical law and completed a Diploma in Medical Law from the University of Northumbria, UK in 2010. She also completed a Certificate in Medical Education with University College London, UK in 2005.
