Tasmiyah Sacoor

Biography

Tasmiyah Sacoor is a Speech and Language Pathologist with more than five years of experience in her field.

Tasmiyah obtained her Speech and Hearing Therapy degree from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa, in 2017. After completing her community service, she worked at the largest hospital in Africa (Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital) providing speech-language and dysphagia services to pediatric patients within specialized clinics.. Tasmiyah is passionate about providing therapeutic intervention services to pediatric populations as well as treating adult patients presents with dysphagia, speech and/or language difficulties due to neurological impairment. She is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as well as the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

Prior to joining Mubadala Health Dubai, Tasmiyah has provided services in a variety of clinical settings both in South Africa and in the UAE.
