Biography

Mazhar Hussain Tazagrami is a Specialist Prosthetist and Orthotist with 24 years of experience, renowned for his expertise in pediatric orthotics and diabetic foot care. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics from Pakistan and a Master's degree in Orthopedic Technology from Germany. In 2005, Mazhar became the first professional in the UAE to fit a Myo Electric Prosthesis, distinguishing himself in the field.

Before joining Mubadala Health Dubai, Mazhar worked in esteemed facilities across the UAE, including Rashid Hospital in Dubai and Latifa Hospital, collaborating closely with international teams such as the Cascade DAFO team from the USA. His skills span from advanced patient assessment to intricate prosthetic and orthotic designs using cutting-edge technologies.
